An EPC should request a controlled RMU cable-interface record linking each cable and feeder tag to the compartment, entry drawing, termination reference, document revision, open action and responsible package owner. It makes the handoff traceable; it does not select a termination or prove cable compatibility.

Start by naming the RMU panel, cable compartment, feeder scope and adjacent package. A cable interface can involve the RMU supplier, cable supplier, EPC and site team; the record should show which party owns each input. A product image is not evidence of cable compatibility or a termination arrangement.
Important: Keep the cable-interface record tied to controlled drawings and the current scope matrix. Do not turn a catalogue image into an installation or acceptance conclusion. (IEC 62271-202)
Every row should connect a cable or feeder tag to the RMU panel and compartment. Record the source document and revision so later changes can be traced.
| Identity field | Record to align | Do not claim |
|---|---|---|
| Feeder tag | Approved circuit or feeder identifier | Final cable selection |
| RMU panel | Panel or functional-unit tag | Complete configuration |
| Compartment | Cable-compartment reference | A termination result |
| Source record | Drawing or schedule revision | As-built approval |
The interface record should link the GA or compartment drawing, cable schedule, termination document and any screen or earth reference that the project requires. If references conflict, log the conflict rather than choosing a preferred drawing informally.

| Evidence item | Input to request | Owner |
|---|---|---|
| Compartment drawing | Current GA or panel drawing | RMU supplier |
| Cable schedule | Feeder tag and source revision | EPC |
| Termination record | Controlled termination reference | Cable/package owner |
| Screen/earth record | Project requirement and owner | Design authority |
For broader RFQ context, see ring main unit cable connection RFQ data. That article does not decide a termination or prove compatibility.
Name who controls the RMU drawing, who provides cable data, who reviews the termination record, who resolves the interface and who approves a change. A quotation should not silently transfer design responsibility.
The responsibility matrix should identify:
Give each missing cable datum, drawing conflict or compartment question a unique action reference. Record the affected feeder, evidence gap, owner, due date and closure record. Keep an unresolved action distinct from an approved revision.
| Action field | Minimum record |
|---|---|
| Reference | Unique project action number |
| Affected feeder | Cable or panel tag |
| Evidence gap | Drawing, schedule or termination record |
| Owner | Named package or design owner |
| Closure | Revised record or approval note |
For network-planning context, see RMU expansion planning. It is not a cable-interface approval method.
Send the interface record with one controlled revision register and ask suppliers to flag missing data or deviations explicitly.
| RFQ input | Buyer should provide | Why it is needed |
|---|---|---|
| Scope basis | One-line diagram, panel list and interface matrix | Defines the boundary |
| Feeder identity | Cable tags and source schedule | Makes rows traceable |
| Compartment evidence | Current GA and entry drawings | Locates the interface |
| Termination basis | Controlled termination or cable documents | Shows the evidence source |
| Ownership | Package matrix and approval path | Separates responsibilities |
| Action control | Open-item log and revision rules | Prevents silent assumptions |
After the cable-interface record, scope matrix and open actions are controlled, the EPC can discuss the equipment scope with the JUBANG switchgear and ring main unit range.

The product-family page does not prove cable fit, termination performance, compartment suitability, certification or project acceptance. Submit the controlled interface package through JUBANG Contact Us for project-specific review.
Include the cable and feeder tags, RMU panel, compartment reference, entry drawing, termination document, revision, open action and owner.
The project scope matrix should name the RMU package owner, cable or termination owner, EPC reviewer and approval authority.
Request the current GA or compartment drawing, cable schedule, interface matrix and applicable termination document with revisions.
No. Compatibility requires approved project data and a responsible design review; a photo only supplies product context.
Assign a unique action, record objective evidence and owner, then close it through a controlled revision or approved disposition.
Send the scope basis, feeder tags, compartment drawings, termination references, ownership matrix, open actions and revision register.
