Totipotent architecture

The RM AirSeT Environmental protection gas insulated ring main unit
(GIS) mainly used for medium voltage secondary distribution.

Can achieve 1-6 function common box, usually used in ring network or
radiation distribution network connection, isolation or earthing.

Thanks to the new vacuum circuit breaker, RM AirSeT enables new
applications such as closed-loop power distribution solutions:

• Automatic transfer switch（ATS）

• Closed-loop distribution network

• Automatic reclosing

Based on the successful concept of “free combination” launched by the
company on the RM6 series a few years ago, RM AirSeT provides a more
flexible combination solution:

• Easy to expand: The switchgear can be freely combined

• Up to 6 functions can be achieved in a shared box

• Modular design

Digitization

RM AirSeT has all the functions required for a smart grid Plug and
play: can be upgraded electrically on-site.

Optimized asset management: based on environmental monitoring sensor
technology (temperature, humidity, flood, intrusion…)

Openness: compatible with both company and other brand DTU

Progressiveness: provide highly integrated intelligent ring network
cabinet, including many functions such as distributed DTU Easergy
T300

Installation conditions

Environmental temperature: Lower or equal to 40 ℃ ; Above or equal to
-25 ℃ (For low-temperature use, please consult the manufacturer)

Altitude: ≤ 1000m (above 1000m, please consult the manufacturer).

Humidity: Less than or equal to 95% (24 hours); Less than or equal to
90% (1 month)

Note: ① Pure air from the factory (dry, filtered, pressurized) does
not require further air replenishment

② Under normal usage conditions specified in GB/T11022

RM AirSet consists of the following components:

1. A stainless steel gas box filled with pressurized, filtered, and
dried air, sealed for life, with a busbar and all live switching
components inside, such as load switches, earthing switches, fuse
assemblies, or circuit breakers

2. One to six cable bays, connected to the power grid or load
(usually transformers)

3. User interface with single line diagram, operating mechanism, and
low-voltage components

4. Manual or electric operating mechanism room

5. With visible earthing

Restrictions on free combination

① For special customization, please consult the manufacturer.

② PT (Voltage transformer cabinet) and M (metering cabinet) are
independent: PT cabinet and M cabinet are specific functional units.
Can only be modular and cannot be containerized. Can only be
connected through scalable RM AirSeT (PT).
